The additional premium for sums insured increase is linked to the current insurance policy and it is not possible to procure this additional cover as a separate service provision. Without the additional premium the current contract does not provide full insurance cover for the Housing Executive's leased flats and will not be fit for purpose. Therefore, the change of contractor is not feasible at this point as it would create a break in insurance policy."
