The SBA programme has been introduced and will either carry out or support fully funded safety assessments to determine domestic multi occupancy buildings with a fire safety risk. The assessment will identify the repairs needed to make buildings safe. The Pilot has identified buildings where previous assessments highlighted a potential risk to life.
