It is also likely to contain a range of contaminants such as oil, diesel, small dead animals and salt. It may also include heavy metals, other contaminants and have high leachable organic content. The Contractor will be required to collect gully and sweeper waste from three Council depots in Carmarthenshire (Carmarthen, Llanelli and Ammanford) and transport the waste to its licensed treatment site(s). The Contractor will be required to treat the gully and sweeper waste such that the resulting products and residues of the process can be reclassified to Chapter 19 waste codes (List of Wastes Regulations 2005).
