The following up work specification requires a supplier to have deep knowledge of both the sector and the sector strategy, specifically the new IOSM capabilities and industrial plan recently endorsed by space council and DSIT. The work completed to date was done by Growbotics Space Ltd both for the earlier key technology identification and the UKSA and space partnership roadmapping. If another supplier were to be used other than Growbotics Space Ltd, understanding the methodology used, decision framework combined with a deep technical understanding of the sector would result in having to completely rework the earlier study, which will result in disproportionate time and resource on top of this study cost.
