"description": "Sellafield Ltd intends to award a Contract to the Cumbria Manufacturing Alliance--an unincorporated joint venture between West Cumberland Engineering and Bendall's Engineering Ltd--for the supply of Manufactured Products Agile Spares.
This agreement will encompass, but is not limited to, the following scope:
* Ongoing supply of manufactured and fabricated products/spares to support stock replenishment across Sellafield Ltd's operational plants, including minor project-related requirements. These products are deployed site-wide and are essential to maintaining continuous operations.
* Provision of Calciner spares, which are critical to the functioning of the High-Level Waste Plant (HLWP).
* General machining and fabrication, including the production of high-precision and complex components from a wide range of material grades--such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys--manufactured to engineering drawings and up to Quality Grade 01.
* Execution of manufacturing trials and prototyping activities to support innovation and development.
The Commencement date is 3rd November 2025 and will be for a period of 4 years. The total final value PS29,900,000 (provided at II.1.7) is for the 4-year duration and includes indexation.",
