There are no other registered childcare providers operating within this targeted area that can meet the needs of Flying Start. Within this radius there is one Flying Start setting, and we cannot increase the numbers we contract with this setting due to CIW registration. If we need to factor in a new build, it's uncertain as the current capital programme runs to March 31st, 2025. We would also need to consider the length of time it takes to secure a new provider and CIW registrations."
