Quality and innovation, value for money and improving access whilst reducing health inequalities are all high priority criteria for Leeds City Council in the delivery of services that support people in improving their health and wellbeing. They align with the objectives within the Best Council Plan and the ambition to reduce health inequalities by the commissioning of high quality services. These three key indicators are directly applied when assessing the effectiveness of a contract/service. Value for money, performance by reducing inequalities and barriers and the outcomes achieved by a service. All are measured through the contract management process.
