As a result of these considerations, and following discussion with the developers, an opportunity has been identified to rationalise delivery of new primary education provision, making best use of available assets and funding, whilst also providing sufficient capacity to meet identified needs. It also offers an opportunity to allow the Weldon Park Site to be developed for SEND purposes. This provides a valuable site for any potential Department for Education (DfE) New School Bid opportunities.
