This includes low level waste (LLW), intermediate level waste (ILW), high level waste (HLW), spent fuels, uranium (particularly depleted, natural and low enriched uranium, DNLEU) and plutonium. NWS (and predecessor organisations) has commissioned a significant amount of work previously to build the knowledgebase in this area, again with a significant focus on the GDF disposal needs.
