We would like to express our gratitude for your ongoing interest and engagement in this matter. This project is characterised by significant complexity, and consequently, we are robustly exploring all available options to ensure efficient and successful delivery in alignment with the NHS Vaccination Strategy (2023), while also ensuring the engagement of all relevant stakeholders.Furthermore, to ensure market stability and to avoid any undue impact on the existing programme in the upcoming seasons, we can confirm that the proposed central procurement and distribution of Adult Flu Vaccine, which is subject to consultation with primary care representative bodies, will not aim to commence until Winter 2028 to 2029 at the earliest. We will ensure that sufficient notice is given for any proposed changes that are to be implemented. To note: This statement does not preclude the outcome of the consultation with the primary care representative bodies."
