The highest weighting was attributed to the the value of the contract due to the limited financial envelope for this service, all other elements had equal weightings.
The RNID were chosen as the provider due to their ability to deliver the contract within budget and having a proven track record of successfully delivering the service for a number of other NHS Trusts. RNID is also a nationally recognised charity supporting people with hearing loss.",
