It also allows our external stakeholders to integrate and work in partnership with the Council, and they have invested in software, training and equipment as well as future proofing services in order to integrate processes and work more efficiently and effectively with the Council. This award allows the Council to continue to use the business-critical asset management platform and further develop its services to meet identified Business need across other Council departments and enhance engagement with external stakeholders. The requirement to use this platform will be included in all relevant specifications as part of future tendering process. This will be for the duration of the contracts and suppliers are expected to utilise the platform as part of their work with the Council. This also affects the citizens of the Vale of Glamorgan as the system is used to report faults by external customers."
