Requirement Interested parties must be able to supply or manufacture additive solution bags that meet the following criteria: - Solution Type: SAG-M or PAGGSM or other approved red cell storage solution - Sterility: Bags must be sterile and suitable for clinical use - Design: Each bag must include a pigtail for sterile docking - Labeling: Bags must be clearly and accurately labelled in accordance with applicable regulatory standards - Compatibility: The solution must be suitable for use in NHSBTs red blood cell washing processes Supplier Engagement Objectives Through this engagement, NHSBT seeks to: - Understand the current market landscape and supplier capabilities - Identify potential suppliers for future procurement opportunities - Gather feedback on product availability, lead times, and regulatory compliance Next Steps Suppliers interested in participating in this market engagement are invited to express their interest by contacting samantha.rix@nhsbt.nhs.uk . Further information, including a questionnaire or Request for Information (RFI), may be issued following initial expressions of interest.
