                    "rationale": "Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: A new regional tender renewal process has been initiated and is currently at evaluation stage (see notice number 029933-002 on www.find-tender.service.gov.uk). The delay in awarding this tender has been necessitated by regional digital change initiatives (introduction of a new LIMS and a new NIPACS+ Radiography reporting system) and by extended cost evaluation by DHPSS NI with the result being that this current contract is to be extended, as indicated, to 13 September 2025 (with provision for up to 6 months further extension) to allow for evaluation and subsequent implementation. This extension is being conducted in line with Reg 72(1)(b)(ii) of the 2015 PCR."
