The Plan will be aligned to Welsh Government health and social care policies (including A Healthier Wales, the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act and Innovation Strategy), set in the context of the UK life sciences vision (and soon to be published Industrial Strategy), and will draw on best practice internationally. The Plan is intended to ensure Life Sciences Hub Wales's activity: * is aligned with funder and stakeholder expectation; * meets needs to deliver economic development and healthcare benefits for Wales; * reflects best practice internationally; and * maximises the impact of the services offered by Life Sciences Hub Wales In line with the Life Sciences Hub Wales Board ambition, in addition to building on current activity the Plan will also address the wider context, including the need for change in Wales, and will review opportunities and explore bold options. Life Sciences Hub Wales seeks to procure an external consultant (\"the Contractor\") to work with the Life Sciences Hub Wales management team to assist with the development of the Plan.",
