Heat energy is sourced from underground water via bored holes on-site, transferred through plate heat exchangers in Building 68, and distributed via an ambient loop. Phase 3 (the current tender) will connect to the existing ambient loop infrastructure already in place from previous phases. The scope includes detailed design development (based on a novated preliminary design), procurement, installation, and commissioning of all associated plant and equipment. A back-up electric boiler capable of meeting 100% of the heat load will also be integrated. All equipment will be housed within the designated plantroom.
