This equipment will be used in the manufacture of parts for railway application where high precision and reliability are critical, and this will increase production output for the Lillie Bridge Depot. The proposed tender is to be issued in two lots, and the award for both machines will awarded in line with the evaluation criteria for the Most Advantageous Tender (MAT). TfL reserves the right award each lot to one or two suppliers to supply both pieces of equipment. Suppliers must be able to demonstrate experience in delivering and supporting advanced manufacturing equipment for use on railway related applications or similarly regulated sectors. This notice commences the formal procurement process. This contract will be awarded under the Procurement Act 2023.
