To reduce the risk of failed batches in GMP manufacturing, the onboarding process, any GMP contracts will be subject to intensive process definition at small scale prior to proceeding with GMP manufacturing contracts. The required parallel small-scale bioreactor system is critical for the onboarding process in allowing the process development to characterise the operational space (experimental space) and its critical process parameters.
