Since 2018, the District Councils in Gloucestershire and Office of Police and Crime Commissioner have commissioned a Sanctuary Scheme, which install security measures into the homes of victims of domestic abuse to increase safety and prevent homelessness. In 2021, high risk victims of non-domestic abuse stalking were provided with access to the scheme via the Stalking Clinic, and Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service became a funding partner.
