Protein production can be outsourced from several commercial entities, but the trade for companies that have relevant and ample experience in nanobody expression, at small scale, in a cost-effective and time-saving manner to fulfil our request is limited. Further, the timeline to complete the objectives of the project with the awarded grant finance translates into the inability to search, outsource, trial and validate the suitability of nanobodies produced by other suppliers unknown to MHRA, significantly narrowing feasible possibilities.",
