Our stations, staff and appliances are strategically placed across Tyne and Wear to ensure efficient and effective response to fires and other emergencies. We also have robust arrangements with neighbouring services to enable additional support during major emergencies. Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service require a Training Tower to support realistic and effective firefighter training. This facility is essential for maintaining operational readiness and ensuring crews can develop and sustain the skills needed for safe and efficient emergency response. To deliver this critical infrastructure, TWFRS is seeking a suitably qualified contractor with the necessary technical knowledge, expertise, and a proven track record in constructing firefighting training towers. The contractor must be capable of delivering a structure that meets the required specification and complies with all relevant standards and best practices.",
