The purpose of this contract would be to support the Council in major roof renewals and maintenance across the housing portfolio. While \"in-house\" trade operatives are used for minor roof repairs there has been little large-scale capital investment in roofing works for over a decade and as a result, the Council are starting to see an increase in the number of roofs failing the Decent Homes Standard. To deliver this capital investment at scale, Housing Maintenance & Development Services require a flexible measured-term contract, where such work can easily be draw down.",
