        "description": "Orbit Group are looking to appoint one contractor who will act as Retrofit Assessor, Retrofit Co-ordinator, Retrofit Designer, Principal Designer (CDM and Building Regs) and Principal Contractor to complete designs and works in line with PAS 2035. Orbit is publishing this notice to facilitate early engagement with potential providers. It relates only to pre-procurement market engagement in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023. The properties are in a conservation area and therefore Orbit intend to gain planning permission for the works prior to procurement. Works include a mix or Orbit owned properties and leasehold properties. Orbit will prepare layout drawings to RIBA stage 3 and indicative detail designs to allow the contractor to bid on the works. Orbit expects that prior to starting the works the Contractor will be given opportunity to complete all required assessments, co-ordination and design prior to finalising their proposals.",
