The Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 brings together health, social services, the third sector and other partners to take forward the effective delivery of integrated services. It requires the local authority to work in partnership with individuals and their families and carers to ensure that services meet the care and support needs identified. 4) Flintshire Family Project The Family Project provides planned therapeutic interventions to families with children who are most likely to be as risk of harm or to be accommodated by the local authority. This is a highly specialised service delivered by a skilled team of counsellors skilled in a range of psychological therapies to intervene and support young victims of sexual and physical abuse or children who have witnessed serious domestic violence within their own home.
