A-STEM offers a vibrant cutting-edge environment that invites researchers, students, industry and the third sector to share in their ambition to build on its world-class reputation in sport and exercise science research.A-STEM is extending its capacity and resource, so is seeking to procure new technologies to enable several of the above drivers to be expanded further. The proposed Wireless IMU-based 3-Dimensional Motion Capture system is a key component of these new technologies, to enable the application of expertise within the Research Centre to newly applied areas of research. As a basic function, the Wireless IMU-based 3-Dimensional Motion Capture system must be able to accurately collect three-dimensional full-body kinematics of a multi-segment system in a field-based environment",
