This has significantly impacted the patient experience and services offered. The Health Board hopes to invest in a significant and ambitious sustainable travel plan that would not only ease the current situation but ultimately promote the health and well being of staff via more eco-friendly modes of transport and improve the air quality with less vehicles parking and using the roads around the hospital sites. The Health Board requires the service to also support Welsh Government with its free hospital parking policy in conjunction with the Health Board's sustainable travel plan and car parking strategy.
