Invasive species are one ofthe main drivers of biodiversity decline globally. The environmental, economic, and social impact of invasive species in Wales will continue to grow unless they are managed with a sustainable and joined-upapproach. The work outlined within this tender will complement invasive species management already undertaken by NWWT's North Wales Resilient Ecosystem Pilot Project (NWREPP) working in Upper Deearea.NWWT wishes to appoint an organisation to work with us to manage the invasive non-native plant species Himalayan balsam, to facilitate the development of our management strategy of controlling invasivenon-native species in the River Dee Catchment which has been running for over a decade.",
