"title": "End of life fishing gear recycling scheme in Wales",
"description": "Following a pilot end of life fishing gear recycling scheme in Wales in 2021-22, Welsh Government are seeking to roll-out a multi-year contract to build on the successes of the this scheme. The pilot scheme currently operates at the following ports; Swansea, Milford Haven, Fishguard, Cardigan, Holyhead and Conwy. This proposed scheme would be expected (as a minimum) to continue to facilitate these ports. The contractor would put in place the necessary infrastructure and bilingual signage at ports and be responsible for the collection and recycling. The types of fishing gear to be recycled would be determined by the contractor and gear that can be recycled within Wales or the UK is preferred. The contractor would also be expected to work with the fishing industry and other stakeholders to raise awareness and share best practice.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=127503.",
