        "procurementMethodRationale": "DP Medical are the only supplier who are able to provide hardware for use with their Colposcopy Imaging equipment. DP Medical Mediscan is used in Colposcopy units across all Health Boards in Wales and is an important clinical tool which enables imaging of colposcopic assessments. The system includes: -Cameras -Hardware (Screens & Desktops) -Supporting IT systems. The current Mediscan system runs using an ONYX platform, the supplier (DP Medical) informed all users that this platform would be fully de-commissioned in July 2023 and replaced with a new platform. System users were notified of the decommissioning in June 2022. To enable service continuity Cervical Screening Wales will need to upgrade all associated hardware units.",
