The Community Benefits included in this contract are:Bron Afon is committed to delivering 'Community Benefits' from its procurement activities.Community benefits covers a wide range of activities and Bron Afon asks its Contractors to understand and deliver the activities which creates the most value to our communities, these can include:* Creating and maximising local opportunities within Torfaen.* Training and recruitment opportunities for the long term economically inactive (long term economically inactive means those not been in paid employment in the last 3 months immediately prior to the date of this invitation)* Volunteering days* Landscaping/Building Services support to regenerate for communal areas* Support for local youth groups and other community groups* Sponsoring of mini sporting tournament or event* Community newsletters advising on impact of service delivery* Contributions to education such as work placements for secondary-school children and college students, landscaping/building services support to regenerate for school playgrounds* Utilise local supply chains.The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.",
