The Bridgend Locality Integrated Autism Service forms part of a separate Regional Team with Swansea Bay University Health Board. The commissioning of an assessment service through this tendering process does not include the Bridgend area.This service forms part of a Wales wide Autism Strategy initiative to develop assessment and support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families.The Integrated Autism Service currently has a waiting list for assessment and the purpose of this tender is to support the team in reducing the waiting list by Spring 2023.The Health Board has a requirement is to undertake 76 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments for adults.There may be an additional requirement to undertake up to a further 50 assessments, however this will be subject to the Health Board seeking confirmation of additional funding.",
