This can include stored information going back numerous years. The Health Board currently consume over one Petabyte (1,000 Terabytes) of active disk storage throughout all of the IT systems.The Digital Operations team try to replace servers and infrastructure hardware which is either end of life from the manufacturer or end of support. These servers will replace legacy HPE servers which are over five years old. This both standardises the server environment making it easier to manage, yet more importantly allows the Health Board to have a stable secure platform to build their applications and services on.",
