The report therefore concluded that there is a significant demand for good quality, sector specific resources, which reflect generic roles and functions and focus on getting the basic functional skills right.What is required / 'The Requirements'a Resource DevelopmentFollowing the findings of Phase 1 we are now seeking a suitability skilled and experienced supplier to work closely with Social Care Wales and other key stakeholders (including relevant awarding bodies) to develop a set of national, bilingual, accessible, and sector specific resources to support the learning and delivery of:- ESW Level 1 and 2 Application of Number for Health and Social Care (HSC)- ESW Level 1 and 2 Application of Number for Early Years Childcare (EYCC)- ESW Level 1 and 2 Communication for Health and Social Care (HSC)- EWS Level 1 and 2 Communication for Early Years Childcare (EYCC)The supplier must ensure that the resources align with any wider ESW developments (for example, as a result of the Qualification Wales review).The resources will be used to support learning in the context of social care. They will include care-based tasks or activities which could be used by tutors during their lessons to help confirm understanding and/or an individual independently.b Resource TestingFollowing development, the supplier must also test the resources via engagement with the Social Care Wales and other key stakeholders (i.e. awarding bodies, learning providers, learners, employers, subject matter experts and relevant advisory groups). This will be critical the ensure the resources are effective, relevant and accessible.The supplier must use the outcome of this testing to produce the final products.OutputsStage 1 (November 2024):Agree project plan and submit draft resource / proposal for Social Care Wales's approval.Stage 2 (November 2024 - February 2025):Work closely with Social Care Wales and other key stakeholders to develop and create a set of resources and materials to support the learning and delivery of:- ESW Level 1 and 2 Application of Number for Health and Social Care (HSC)- ESW Level 1 and 2 Application of Number for Early Years Childcare (EYCC)- ESW Level 1 and 2 Communication for Health and Social Care (HSC)- ESW Level 1 and 2 Communication for Early Years Childcare (EYCC)Stage 3 (February -
