It is proposed to utilise additional funding awarded from Welsh Government to roll out this development to all Health Boards. All Health Boards in Wales utilise Ibex for prostate biopsies, and it is also already used in BCUHB for breast biopsies. The infrastructure is in place within NHS Wales to use this system, including an existing Data Protection Impact Assessment. Due to the time constraints of the funding it is not feasible to roll out the use of a different supplier at this time.
