Support provided to these Groups will include a review of current waste management practices, auditing the businesses to determine waste arising and identify opportunities for improvements. An implementation phase will then result, which should lead to quantifiable savings for the SMEs within each group, and to the development of examples for communicating good practice to other groups of SMEs. A project report summarising the support provided to each Group, the outputs and savings achieved, and any lessons learned will be required. A step-by-step guide suitable for supporting other Groups of SMES to achieve similar outputs and outcomes will also be developed. All support, including preparation of final documents, must be completed and agreed with Zero Waste Scotland by no later than 16 March 2018..
