    "description": "On behalf of its members, Scotland Excel envisages publishing a future tender opportunity for secure care transportation. (For more information about Scotland Excel and its members, please visit http://www.scotland-excel.org.uk) Scotland Excel is inviting interested parties to contribute to the development of its procurement strategy. Accordingly, interested parties are encouraged to request a meeting with Scotland Excel staff. Feedback during these meetings will be used to inform the procurement strategy. However neither Scotland Excel or any contracting authorities will be bound to accept any views stated by interested parties during the meetings. Please note that any potential lotting of requirements has yet to be determined. Please also note that the value stated of GBP 1 million is provided for indicative purposes only. Neither Scotland Excel or any contracting authority provides any guarantee of spend from any future procurement activity. The indicative value stated is for a 4 year period (i.e. GBP 250,000 per annum). All interested parties wishing to contribute to this phase of the process should email social.care@scotland-excel.org.uk no later than Friday 3rd November 2017. Meetings will take place between Monday 13th November and Friday 24th November 2017. Dates and timings for meetings will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
