    "description": "ScotRail are seeking a supplier for maintenance, overhaul and technical support of Class 43 HST Alternators to be brought in to service in early 2018 as part of the HST fleet introduction. There will be 54 alternations installed on the fleet, with a float of between 2 and 6 available. The alternator is required to deliver a set level of performance for the duration of the contract, and any offer to maintain it must meet a set level of performance. The supplier must have the capability to remove and refit the alternator from the existing power unit and work with the engine maintainer to ensure performance.
