    "description": "The key service aims will be to provide and deliver a range of interventions to children and young people who offend with a particular emphasis on restorative approaches. To meet this, the service must Ensure a quick response to children and young people who offend, i.e. make contact with the young person via letter or telephone within 3 working days of receiving the summary police report/VPD paperwork; Ensure victim participation where deemed appropriate; i.e where there is an identifiable victim who is prepared to participate in restorative approaches; and where the attitude of the young person is assessed as being suitable to participate in dialogue with the victim; Following assessment, provide high quality interventions taking into account the needs of the children, young people and communities to support them to seek routes out of offending. Please refer to section 4.1 for details of the types of interventions to be offered; Ensure that the range of interventions are monitored and evaluated to maintain high levels of effectiveness and positive outcomes for young people and their victims.
