The anticipated framework is designed to provide technology enabled care solutions to enable people to live independently in their homes. The current arrangement is due to expire in December 2018. It is the intention of Scotland Excel to re-tender this arrangement, with an anticipated commencement date of January 2019. Scotland Excel would like to invite any suppliers that can offer any of the devices described in the notice to note interest to Scotland Excel, to discuss the framework opportunity and what equipment and services they can currently offer. The supply and delivery of such devices are generally intended for installation or use in the homes of people requiring assistance for the purposes of health or social care support. The existing supplies contract may now be added to by expanding into service provision for location tracking and lifestyle monitoring. Future tender or tenders may be held as separate exercises. Feedback will be used to inform the tender process, however neither Scotland Excel nor any contracting authorities will be bound to accept any views stated. Participation in the consultation process is not mandatory and any party not participating in the exercise will not be disadvantaged in the tender process. Individual meetings will take place from 5th April and 13th April and are available on a first come first served basis.
