The aim of the service is to encourage young people, where it is appropriate and safe to do so, to consider returning home or to family and friends rather than enter unsuitable temporary homeless accommodation. The service will provide a package of support based on the individual needs of the young person. The service will liaise with and refer the young person to social work and other specialised support services as required..
