Building Surveyor - Technical Services (Appendix A.2) The provision of a Building Surveying services appointed by the client to undertake professional surveying services. Please refer to Appendix A.2 - RICS Building Surveyor Technical Services for full details of the type of services CVG may require. The surveyor's role will generally include: - Undertaking building surveys of individual properties or common blocks. - Undertaking measured surveys of individual properties or common blocks. - Prepare building survey reports. - Prepare life cycle cost reports with consideration given to Scottish Housing Quality Standards (SHQS). - Prepare measured survey drawings typically consisting of; -- Floor plans -- Sections -- Elevations - Undertake specific building defect inspections and prepare reports (typically consisting of individual elements such as; insulated cladding, common chimneys, balconies or render) - Prepare Bill of Quantities and Tender Documentation for Client Procurement (typical reactive contract values of less than GBP 50,000, fifty thousand pounds sterling) - Undertake Energy Performance Certificates (Elmhurst RdSAP Accreditation preferred) This service shall be provided by competent, experienced professionals who can provide evidence of one of the following or equal and equivalent: - Building Surveying degree with Membership of RICS. - Chartered Project Management Surveyor.
