    "description": "Education Scotland would wish to meet with potential bidders in order to seek views and information from the marketplace on the requirement. This information will be used as background to the procurement strategy and tender documents for the requirement. Once this work is completed, we shall be able to undertake a procurement process which is fully compliant with EU Procurement Directives and Scottish Procurement Regulations to secure the contract. At this stage, we would be interested in receiving a presentation from prospective bidders demonstrating the capabilities of the proposed product. The dates allocated are 27-30 Aug 2018.The presentations would take place at Education Scotland premises in Glasgow or via Teleconference. We anticipate each presentation will last no more than one hour. If you are interested in participating in this exercise, please contact Stephen Phillips at stephen.phillips@gov.scot by no later than 12:00 on 24 Aug 2018. You should nominate a preferred date and time from the following options: 27 Aug 18; 28 Aug 18; 29 Aug 18; 30 Aug 18 Slots shall be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Your presentation should cover: An introduction to the concept of your product; capabilities; brief use case; security of data; high level technical overview; support provided; indicative costs. This process will be undertaken entirely on a without commitment basis and no undertaking is given that any company invited to present will be included in the tender process. The presentations shall not be evaluated or scored and shall be excluded from evaluation at the tender stage.
