"description": "The car club operator must be accredited and provide the full car club service, including vehicle provision and all back-office services including booking system, membership and data on usage. The vehicle/s must be 100% electric, Plug-in Hybrid electric vehicles are not eligible, and the car club operator must commit to having the vehicle in operation after delivery, for 12months. Housing associations and cooperatives across Scotland will be invited to contact as many different car club operators as they choose to find the service they require, before submitting a bid for grant funding. The bid will need to specify which operator they have chosen and the reasons why, along with a detailed cost breakdown of what the funding will be used for. Funding should cover: - The vehicle for 12 months. - The car club service for 12 months. - Membership deals for residents. - Other incentives for residents. Funding does not need to cover: - The charge point. Plugged-in Households will open applications to the scheme on 19 October 2018, and the deadline for applications will be 19 December 2018. Energy Saving Trust are running workshops throughout the week of 22 October in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness to introduce the scheme and give housing associations and cooperatives the chance to find out more. Energy Saving Trust would like to extend this invite to accredited car club operators too. Along with the application forms going live in October, Energy Saving Trust will release a guidance document for housing associations and cooperatives in Scotland to refer to. In this document we will list all accredited car club operators who have expressed an interest in this scheme. Energy Saving Trust will also encourage applicants to do their own research to identify other operators if they choose. If you are an accredited car club operator who is interested in either attending the workshops, or being listed on the guidance documentation, please email pluggedinhouseholds@est.org.uk.. For additional information, please email pluggedinhouseholds@est.org.uk.",
