During this period the highest priority is continuation of waste services to the community. The Covid-19 pandemic further impacted the timeline for having in place this long term service provision, with service continuity and delivery being the utmost importance. Therefore until the long term arrangements are finalised and to avoid a detrimental impact on current waste service provision it is essential that the existing arrangement continues. It is expected that the long term arrangements will be concluded around June 2021.",
