"description": "Following devolvement of powers over a range of disability benefits to the Scottish Parliament under the Scotland Act 2016, the Scottish Government is looking to provide support to the development of Scotland's Social Security Agency. Increased employee numbers has raised a need for formal Health and Safety training to be provided. It is expected up to 1400 employees will require training and it is expected training will be provided via SCORM e-learning platforms which will be downloadable to Scottish Government's Learning Management System (LMS). This service will contribute to the design of supporting systems to support Scottish Government in delivering valued services safely. It is anticipated that Health and Safety Training contracts will commence in Autumn 2019 and run continuously for a minimum of 1 year, with the possibility of a contract extension for a further year. (This is only indicative, Scottish Government reserves the right to change or amend the term). This is a Request for Information and is to attain indicative costs and learning options only, this is document does not create, obligate or guarantee a contract or framework agreement. Social Security Scotland (SSS) is currently reviewing Health and Safety needs of the business. SSS requires a Health and Safety provider to offer a range of Health and Safety courses which include but are not limited to: Display Screen Equipment Driver Safety Lone Working/Working Alone Fire Safety Due to the significant number and widespread locations it is expected that the Health and Safety provider will be able to offer the services via downloadable SCORM e-learning packages. SSS wish for the Health and Safety modules to be compatible with the SSD's Learning Management System (LMS). The Health and Safety provider will be responsible for the creation of the modules, ensuring compliance to most recent legislation changes and upcoming changes (changing content when required and advising employees who have passed of any changes to legislation). SSS require the modules to provide certificates to confirm training courses have been undertaken and also a pass score (e.g. 80% ) to be achieved validating the learning outcomes.",
