The broad requirements are for a tool that will allow Education Scotland to: a) Create surveys with a range of question formats and logic; b) Create surveys using custom themes; c) Brand surveys with Education Scotland logos and colours; d) Create and update contact lists to facilitate survey distribution; e) Create links to and share surveys online; f) Translate surveys into the top ten languages spoken at home by pupils; g) Track and maximise responses to surveys; h) Compliance with GDPR/DPA regulations; i) Carry out detailed analysis of survey results at different levels (e.g. local, national etc.) allowing cross tabulation, data splits and automatic report generation; and j) Download survey data in bulk (across multiple surveys). The corporate survey tool is essential for the inspection management process and is central to a number of other corporate reporting activities. This includes use as part of: pre and post inspection activity; reporting on corporate KPIs; communications exercises; user surveys; and, other engagement with the education sector.
