The market for Orkney's products and services is worldwide and increasing Orkney's digital presence is the most cost-effective way to spread Orkney's message across the globe. The project will feed new and developing social media channels and support the next stage development of orkney.com, which since December 2019, has been the main source of online content for Orkney, combining the previously separate orkney.com and visitorkney.com. The project will create locally generated digital content by way of photography, film footage and copywriting, which will be used in webpages, blogs, newsletters and regular communication with an ever-expanding database of potential customers who are interested in Orkney. All sectors are agreed that digital marketing is essential to maintain and protect Orkney's reputation for quality as well as being a cost-effective channel to attract new people and business. All sectors require increased access to high quality and locally generated digital content to populate their industry websites and social media activity. This project will provide resource to equitably cover all areas of Orkney including the islands.",
