The Survey will also prioritise the works and expenditure by identifying the risk to the Colleges on-going operations. The Survey will include a component level analysis of the building fabric and services based on standard BCIS elements. The inspection should be undertaken on a room by room basis, with each relevant BCIS element being assessed, their description / condition being recorded and any works required to bring the element up to 'Condition B'. The Survey will identify all works that are needed at that time and/or that will become due within 20 years of the survey date, with such needs being priority coded and costed to aid budget planning.
