These are Empowerment Grants and Rights & Equalities. Both initiatives predominantly, but not exclusively, focus on care experienced young people who: - are affected by protected characteristics (e.g. disability; sexual orientation; race; religion and belief; sex) - have experience of the youth justice system - are looked after at home - have experience of long-term health issues, including mental health - have experience of homelessness Both of these initiatives aim to support the young people involved to increase their confidence and skills, gain independence, exercise their rights, and use their voice to make changes, both in their own lives and in the broader care system. We are seeking dedicated, knowledgeable and creative evaluators who will examine the work of the Trust's Empowerment Grants and Rights & Equalities initiatives across Scotland. The primary goal of the evaluation is to measure the impact of the Trust's Equalities funding awards.
