It is anticipated that the Service Provider will support Community Enhancement activity. Community Enhancement activity relates to a wide range of activity that may include, but is not limited to: public art; support for local youth or elderly groups; involvement in the school curriculum such as careers talks, enterprise and education projects; and school / college work experience placements. It may also relate to small scale, low cost community improvements or \"make-overs\" such as improving the appearance of a community garden, advising community centres, etc. This Community Benefit element will not be evaluated as part of the invitation to tender. However, the delivery of community benefit opportunities is a contractual obligation under the framework agreement. The community enhancement measures required for a works package will be determined on a project by project basis. CGDL is committed to an approach to regeneration that puts local people at the heart of our plans. As part of the project development the Service Provider and team members will be required to develop and participate in Community Engagement sessions.
